What do I do

Open Source Projects

There are a couple of open source projects that I work with and occasionally commit patches or enhancements to...

  • Linux VServer - A patchset for the Linux kernel that enables it to create private contexts.
  • SysCP - A (web-)server control panel written in PHP for LAMP servers.
  • Poweradmin - A webinterface for my favourite nameserver: PowerDNS
  • GeeXBoX - A small but powerfull linux based multimedia distribution
  • IceCast - A streaming audio (and recently video) server

And ofcourse there is a Linux distribution of choice: Gentoo, although I’ve worked with a lot of distributions in the past years, including all major ones and preferred SlackWare before I finaly switched to Gentoo.

Contributions

Here is a list of contibutions I made to various projects although most of the code is abandoned:

Linux-Vserver

Postnuke

    • A Postnuke module to allow user sharing between the Postnuke CMS and Cacti.
    • Another Postnuke module to allow user sharing between the Postnuke CMS and PowerAdmin.

Poweradmin

    • Some modifications to this PowerDNS management interface, in order to ease the administration of an ISP grade nameserver.
